$6,500 Tax Credit

If you are a first time home buyer you are entitled up to $8,000 tax credit. This tax credit has been extended and expanded to include those homeowners who wish to "move on"after being in their current home for 5 years. Check out this site:

$6,500 Tax Credit. Those homeowners that have lived in their homes for 5 out of 8 years are eligible to receive a $6,500 tax credit. There will be no more extensions on this so you need to hurry and buy a home and have a written, binding contract by April 30,2010. Income limits are set to $125,000 for those that are single and $225,000 for those that are married. There is a limit of the purchase amount of the home. That amount must be no more than $800,00. This deal is a very good deal for new home buyers. Buying a home for the first time is hard enough and now you get some extra money back to help out with your new home.
