Top 10 New Years Resolutions

I can not believe that tommorow is the last day of 2009. This also means that it is the time of the year for those New Years Resolutions that people usually don't keep. I am totally one of those people but this year I need to keep a few of them. Here is my list for my top 10 New Year Resolutions.

1. Get Organized...My house is all out of wack..Everything is all over the place and I'm sick of it. I already started this one last week actually. I only have 3 rooms left to organize.
2. Lose Weight...This one is very important and seems to be on my list every year. This one is also the first one I break. But this time I can't. My health is being affected now and I have no energy to play with my daughters. I'm also afraid of having a heart attack. So something needs to be done.
3. Finish my schooling..I'm taking classes online for Law Enforcement. I need to finish it and get my certificate so I can get a great job to support my daughters.
4. Be a better parent...This actually should be number 1 bu the reason I made it #4 is because I'm not a bad mom to begin with. I could use some small changes.
5. I need to start being more strict with my daughters. I do spoil them and let them get away with alot and I do now that needs to change.
6. No More Pacifier..My daughter will be 3 in May and is very attached to her pacifiers. Her teeth are starting to get crooked.
7. I need to be a better wife. I fight with my husband alot about stupid stuff and I don't like when he wants to hang out with his friends. I need to give him more space and some privacy.
8. I need to start saving money. We always never have any money. My husband gets paid the 1st and 15th of each month. We are always broke by the 3rd and 17th of the month.
9. No more junk food and soda. It seems we have more junk food and soda in the house then actual food. My 2 yr old is addicted to soda already and I do not like that.
10. I need to have more patience and learn to relax. I don't know how to have fun. I'm always so serious and I never take a joke or laugh.

Hopefully I can stick to this list..I'll keep you updated of course..My husband has to pull duty tommorow night so I will be spending New Years Eve alone. What fun huh?

Christmas wasn't to bad. Wendsday was awful though. We got 2 inches of snow and the roads were closed and everything. This means no mail. I was waiting for a $300 giftcard my stepfather sent for the girls. We still have not gotten it yet. Hopefully tommorow so I can go and buy them clothes and whatever else. It's almost midnight and ....surprise...I'm still awake. I'm a little tipsy and too wide awake. I'm waiting for my hubby to come upstairs to bed so I can try and play a little. =)  I have so much to do tomorrow and it is supposed to snow. We are supposed to get 2 to 4 inches. I hate snow!! My stepfather sent us a $300 gift card to walmart. We have not gotten it yet. I know Roanoke Va got 27 inches of snow. I'm sure thats why the mail was held up. But I'm hoping I get this gift card tomorrow so I can get the rest of the gifts for the girls. UUGGHH Christmas...I honestly can't wait for it to be over. I know I have daughters now and it really is about them but I have always hated Christmas. My dad died December 17th 2007 and I know this is why I hate this time of year. I can't help it. I definitly do not show it when the girls are around though. They seem to love it so far and they can't wait to make cookies for santa tomorrow. Well I'm going to try and find more blogs to read...Bye!

I'm so glad this week is almost over. This week was insane. So we got a tree but no lights on it and no decorations...so sad I know. We are poor folk..It's true. We did get the girls stockings and got them gifts so at least that was done. We are still waiting on a giftcard my stepfather is sending us. Hopefully we get it soon so we can buy more gifts for the girls. I saw this last night at Walmart:

It has 22 accesories and everything on it..They would love that since they are always playing with my stuff. It's only $35 this week also so I'm hoping that giftcard comes real soon.

On another note..I took them to the park today..I took two pics before that also..

This weeks topic is FAMILIES.

I have a big family but right now it is just Mike, the kids and I. I try to get everyone do things as a family but it doesn't always work that way. Mike lays on the couch when he is home and watches tv all day while I tend to the kids. I take them to the park when it's nice out and sit and eat with them at breakfast,lunch and sometimes dinner. Mike usually sits with us at dinner but that is about it. Here are some photos of us..
