Childhood Ambitions
I remember growing up and wanting to be a police officer, then a lawyer, then a psychologist. I also wanted to be a criminal psychologist and work in a mental hospital. I was very interested in how the criminal mind worked. Why Jeffrey Dahmer killed all those people and then decided to eat them. I wanted to know what made these people do these horrible things. Of course I was always just a cashier working at minimum wage and never getting ahead. I met my husband and quit my job after becoming pregnant and relocating. I am now a stay at home mom taking care of my daughters and taking classes online for a bachelors in Criminal Justice. I'm now 32 and won't have my degree until I'm 33. A few years ahead of what I dreamed about when I was growing up. But hey better late then never right..
