Christmas wasn't to bad. Wendsday was awful though. We got 2 inches of snow and the roads were closed and everything. This means no mail. I was waiting for a $300 giftcard my stepfather sent for the girls. We still have not gotten it yet. Hopefully tommorow so I can go and buy them clothes and whatever else. I got from Mike a pair of diamond earrings, and this necklace:

It's almost midnight and ....surprise...I'm still awake. I'm a little tipsy and too wide awake. I'm waiting for my hubby to come upstairs to bed so I can try and play a little. =)  I have so much to do tomorrow and it is supposed to snow. We are supposed to get 2 to 4 inches. I hate snow!! My stepfather sent us a $300 gift card to walmart. We have not gotten it yet. I know Roanoke Va got 27 inches of snow. I'm sure thats why the mail was held up. But I'm hoping I get this gift card tomorrow so I can get the rest of the gifts for the girls. UUGGHH Christmas...I honestly can't wait for it to be over. I know I have daughters now and it really is about them but I have always hated Christmas. My dad died December 17th 2007 and I know this is why I hate this time of year. I can't help it. I definitly do not show it when the girls are around though. They seem to love it so far and they can't wait to make cookies for santa tomorrow. Well I'm going to try and find more blogs to read...Bye!

I'm so glad this week is almost over. This week was insane. So we got a tree but no lights on it and no decorations...so sad I know. We are poor folk..It's true. We did get the girls stockings and got them gifts so at least that was done. We are still waiting on a giftcard my stepfather is sending us. Hopefully we get it soon so we can buy more gifts for the girls. I saw this last night at Walmart:

It has 22 accesories and everything on it..They would love that since they are always playing with my stuff. It's only $35 this week also so I'm hoping that giftcard comes real soon.

On another note..I took them to the park today..I took two pics before that also..

This weeks topic is FAMILIES.

I have a big family but right now it is just Mike, the kids and I. I try to get everyone do things as a family but it doesn't always work that way. Mike lays on the couch when he is home and watches tv all day while I tend to the kids. I take them to the park when it's nice out and sit and eat with them at breakfast,lunch and sometimes dinner. Mike usually sits with us at dinner but that is about it. Here are some photos of us..

The New MeMe

Wow I am so sorry I wasn't on saturday to start my new meme. So much shit happened that day and well this weekend sucked. First of all Wendsday I brought my daughters to daycare to get a few hours to myself. They had posted on the wall a moms night out. I asked about it and they were hosting it a church so I had to call and reserve a spot for them. I got home and called and added them to the list. It was a church on 82nd street. So Saturday came and around noon I fed them lunch,gave them baths and usually they have naps after thier lunch but that day I kept them awake for the party. I called it a party because they were having fun and games for them to keep them occupied and my daughters hate going to daycare. They are wayyyy to attached to me. Anyways we left the house at 2 and drove up to 82nd street which only took 15 minutes..so what we are early I thought. The directions the lady gave me was to drive all the way down cache rd. and make a left on 82nd street and the church was on the left...easy enough right...WRONG!! There were only 3 churches on 82nd street and none of them knew what the hell I was talking about.So long story short we ended up coming home and not getting any time to myself at all. They didn't nap or anything. They didn't nap today either. But anyways that is why I didn't post the new meme. I will do now though...So get ready for it.......
