I hear ya though. I did it with my first two (now 16 and 10) and I'm doing it again with my second two (4 and 3). Being a military wife can't help much with the stress level either. I was active duty when my first was born and it was really hard. I wish I could say on her 3rd birthday it would all be over and done with but.. my 10 year old STILL does those things!
